Are you tired of web designers who do design only but don’t include your content in the price? As a designer myself, I hate to hear when my clients tell me about a former or even current designer of their site that did the design only, but not the content.

Content is such a major part of a website that design comes secondary. People search online because of the content, not just to see a pretty site. You can have the best site in the world, but if the content is terrible or non-existent then you won’t make any money or get any new clients. I like to help my clients with the content and the design. The design should be the icing on the cake of what is your website. The next time that you go to hire a designer make sure that the final price includes working with the content. If not make sure that you know in advance that the price is not including content.

If you have not paid attention to your site lately look at the content and think about what can be better and what can be improved. Then set out to redo your content or hire someone to do your content.

One way to save on a website is to use web templates. Web templates can help to cut down on the cost of design work. Any good web designer can customize a web template if you need more or if you don’t have time to do it yourself. You can check out some awesome web templates here. I like web templates because they help spark my inner creative nature. If your looking to save money on your web design project; look into web templates.

A caution about web templates: Make sure that when you purchase a web template that you have read the fine print. Make sure that you can use it for commercial reasons. Usually you cannot resale a web template that you have bought to your customers. If you like a particular web template style see who designed the template. You can probably contact the designer if you like their style if you would like to do another website in the future.
